Delete your Dalilna account

You can delete your account and data at any time — in the app or by email.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Dalilna and tap the account icon at the top of the Discover screen to go to Account.
  2. Choose Privacy & data.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with Delete permanently.

Tip: before deleting, you can tap “Download my data” to get a copy of your data (a JSON file).

By email

If you can’t get into the app, send an email to privacy@dalilna.app from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month at the latest.

What gets deleted

  • Your account (email address, display name and account settings).
  • Your reviews, photos, votes and the places you follow.
  • Your reports, business claims and your list of blocked people.

What may be kept, and why

  • Moderation and report records are anonymized after account deletion and kept for up to 2 years to deal with repeated abuse and appeals.
  • Business claim documents (such as a KvK extract) are deleted within 90 days after we decide on the claim.
  • Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days, so deleted data disappears from them within that period.
  • Saved places and settings stored on your device stay there until you remove the app.

Only want to delete some data?

You can delete reviews one by one, switch off “Anonymous usage statistics” (which also deletes what was recorded) and clear your search history and cache — all in AccountPrivacy & data.
